Here is another card buffet cutie! I just love this card. If Jen and Chrissy are reading my blog...act surprised when you get this card in the mail. I designed it with you girls in mind!
Stamps are Motherhood and Beauty of A Woman. Image and sentiment are stamped in Palette Burnt Umber. Background and DTP inking is VersaMagic Gingerbread ink. Image is colored with prismacolor pencils and blended with OMS. It's not too late to pop out tonight and join me for a 12 card buffet!

Toadally Awesome Card Buffet FRIDAY!

Here is a little look at one of the fun projects for Friday's Card Buffet! Come over any time between 12 noon -3 pm or 5 pm -8 pm and make up to 12 cards for just $1 each! June Card Kit is HERE!

Here is a preview for my June Card kit! This month I decided on muted colors, antique ribbon, and a brand new floral set. More details will follow with a photo of the kit. Kits this month are $25. Another Retirement Party Card!

Ok, so the scan is not awesome, but I have a ton to do to get ready for the retirement party. I wanted to give you all another peek at what we will be doing tomorrow. Retirement Party Thursday 5-24!

I just love Garden Fairies, Gingham Background, and Word Play! It is going to be really hard to see them go! As of 6-29-07 these great sets, and many others, will be gone forever! We have a winner!

I am so excited, TAC selected my card for the 'Spring has Sprung' contest winner! I never expected this entry to win, but it did and I am honored.
This card is simple. Fold a half a sheet of the palest green from Bazzill Greens to make a standard top fold card. Using Aloe Vera VersaMagic, ink the edges and stamped repeatedly the diamond shape from Reinforcers to make the borders. Stamp a chick, from Hey Chick, randomly on a pale yellow panel from Bazzill Yellows using Thatched Straw VersaMagic ink. Tear the bottom and ink the edges of the yellow panel. Then stamp a different chick on the ivory panel using Gingerbread VersaMagic. Tear bottom of panel and ink edges with Aloe Vera. Stamp rectangle reinforcer as shown. Set aside until the chick is completely dry, then color the chick with Thatched Straw ink, from the pad, using a cotton swab. Mat with a medium shade from Bazzill Browns and tear bottom edge. Adhere to yellow panel as shown. Stamp rectangle reinforcer on yellow panel. Add big eyelets to reinforcers and tie ribbon. Adhere panel to card front. Stamp sentiment as shown with Gingerbread ink. That's it.

Look at this beauty! Saturday evening after spending the entire day at an AWESOME Angel Gathering, thanks Sandy, I came home to find this beauty waiting in my mail box! LOVE IT! This card was made by friend, fellow Angel and downline, Becky Weidner! Thanks Becky, you made my day! I just love it. Yes folks the strips of paper are really woven. You can not tell from the photo but the pink card stock in the background has a pretty shine to it, kinda pearly! It's a beautiful card. Thanks again Becky!

I made this birthday card for my aunt with Bold Birthday. Bold Birthday was an awesome solid image stamp set available at a great discount until April 15th. Usually I try not to show too much stuff done with retired stamp sets, but I couldn't help but post this one. I was very pleased with the finished product! Hope it inspires you to create! Besides Bold Birthday, I used my big shot machine to emboss the background with music notes and also to cut the photo corners. The textured pink, robins egg, and apple green cardstock is all match makers. I used prisma glitter on the cake, in real life it has a ton of sparkle! The scallop circle is made with the coluzzle circle template and a SU! notch punch...but you could use the notch tool from TAC too!

70 Something and Sunny!

It is warm and bright here today. Feels and smells like spring, finally! I am working on projects that might be good sellers for two May craft fairs. What do you think of this? The first photo is closed. To open you just pull on the thumb notch as you hold the bottom of the card. The second photo is open to reveal a packet of seeds. To close again just push the seeds back down. The ribbon will slide back through the holes and neatly back into the card. This little card with built in gift is the perfect size for a standard A2 envelope and therefore can be mailed. I used Old Friend a brand new stamp set from the Spring Supplement. I just can not keep my hands off of this great stamp set. Images are stamped with Palette Burnt Umber and colored with Lyra AquaColor Crayons and a Niji Water Brush.

Those of you that are going to receive the April Card Kit will get full instructions, stamps and enough card stock, colored staples and ribbon to make at least two of these cards!
