Lots of Cards to make up for LOST time.

Here is a card I made to trade with a great group of stampers. This is my second month as a member of this stamp club. I am enjoying the ladies company and creativity! The theme for this months trade was "use a stencil". I used a brick pattern stencil and VersaMark Ink to make the brick panel on the card. Other supplies used on this card are:
Welcome Home
Cricle Sampler
Congrats & Thanks GWP
Copic Markers
Pewter Mini Brads
Paper Piercer
Crop-a-dile

I have the BEST Mary Kay gal. She has really made my life easier. I have a five minute bed time skincare routine and a five minute make up routine. EASY PEASY and I couldn't have done it without her...I made this card for her. Supplies used to make this card include:
Girlie Gadgets
Ordinary Greetings
Running Stitches
Black and White Ribbon

This is the same layout as the card above. I just cut the yellow card so that it was 5 1/4 x 4 folded and mounted it on a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 teal panel. That gave this card a little uniqueness. Sometimes when you need a quick card it is helpful to use a previous layout with different stamps and cardstocks colors. This was my dad's birthday card. Some supplies used to make this card include:
Fun in the Sun
PrismaColor Pencils
Odorless Mineral Spirits

This is the last card I am going to share today.
This card is in honor of one of my best customers and friend. Alexis, you inspired this card! This card and maybe even some of the other will be available on my project
buffet this Tuesday, August 19th. If you are planning on coming to the buffet give me a call or email to confirm your seat! Some supplies used to make this card include:
All Season Athlete
Tombow Markers
Coluzzle Circle
Corner Rounder
Palette Noir
Hydra Sponges
I know it has been a long time since I last posted! I hope that these cards make up for lost time! Thanks for stopping by today!

Welcome to the TEAM Bryn!

What a BUSY weekend! I had a fireworks party here at my house on 7-3. My back yard is across the street from Arlington Park and they do a spec-TAC-ular fireworks display every year, of course we have a party for everyone to come enjoy the show. On the 4th, I marched in the Mt. Prospect Parade with my church for the Awana Clubs. I also was represented in the Palatine Jaycees Fair and had a big 4th of July bash at my house! This is the outfit Violet wore in the Mt. Prospect Parade:

My newest downline Bryn made the skirt and I stamped the tshirt! Click the first picture for the best close up details. Want boutique clothes for your toddler or child? Check out Bryn's etsy store, Autumn Raindrops. She has a few items up there now and will be adding daily. You can also contact Bryn for special orders!

On the 5th I did a fair put on by the Palatine Jaycees. It was fun and I met some cool stampers! This is the make and take card I was offering, you never know if it might show up on a card and project buffet:

Supplies Used to make this card:

Yellow 1 Cardstock

Preschool Valentine, Another Cricut Project

I had to do a craft with the Preschool on Thursday for the Valentine's Day party. I thought what better to do then stamp, right? So I took a lot of help from my Cricut. The envelope is cut from Cricut Sampler (Paper Pups) at 3 1/2. The card is 3 1/2 square. The hearts are also cut from Cricut Sampler (Paper Pups) in several different sizes. The biggest heart is cut at 2 1/2 and the smallest red heart (on the front of the envelope) is cut at 1. After the hearts were cut I stamped over them with Swirly Gigs to give them some texture. I used Palette Moulin Rouge on the red hearts and Palette Belle Rose on the pink hearts. The edges of the card and envie are sponged with Palette Burnt Umber. The Happy Valentine's Day! and To:, From: stamps are from a retired TAC Valentine set. The kids, 11 preschoolers, had a great time! Each card turned out slightly different and unique, but all were beautiful and well done.
