Lots of Cards to make up for LOST time.

Here is a card I made to trade with a great group of stampers. This is my second month as a member of this stamp club. I am enjoying the ladies company and creativity! The theme for this months trade was "use a stencil". I used a brick pattern stencil and VersaMark Ink to make the brick panel on the card. Other supplies used on this card are:
Welcome Home
Cricle Sampler
Congrats & Thanks GWP
Copic Markers
Pewter Mini Brads
Paper Piercer
Crop-a-dile

I have the BEST Mary Kay gal. She has really made my life easier. I have a five minute bed time skincare routine and a five minute make up routine. EASY PEASY and I couldn't have done it without her...I made this card for her. Supplies used to make this card include:
Girlie Gadgets
Ordinary Greetings
Running Stitches
Black and White Ribbon

This is the same layout as the card above. I just cut the yellow card so that it was 5 1/4 x 4 folded and mounted it on a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 teal panel. That gave this card a little uniqueness. Sometimes when you need a quick card it is helpful to use a previous layout with different stamps and cardstocks colors. This was my dad's birthday card. Some supplies used to make this card include:
Fun in the Sun
PrismaColor Pencils
Odorless Mineral Spirits

This is the last card I am going to share today.
This card is in honor of one of my best customers and friend. Alexis, you inspired this card! This card and maybe even some of the other will be available on my project
buffet this Tuesday, August 19th. If you are planning on coming to the buffet give me a call or email to confirm your seat! Some supplies used to make this card include:
All Season Athlete
Tombow Markers
Coluzzle Circle
Corner Rounder
Palette Noir
Hydra Sponges
I know it has been a long time since I last posted! I hope that these cards make up for lost time! Thanks for stopping by today!

More Hemingway Pages for 12x12 Club

Got lots of pictures to scrap? Love 12x12. Well each month we will be trying out a SWIC new paper pack. Make TWO 12x12 two-page layouts and keep the rest of the papers. Who knows we might even make a card or two with the leftover papers! $30, Includes Hemingway SWIC, Hemingway Cardstock, and Amberly Grace Hardware.

You'll love these papers! They are not just your Southwest, Country or Rodeo photos but you will also be successful with nature and camping pictures, masculine photos and Autumn/Fall photos. This class is small and personal. You will be able to customize your colors (within the Hemingway palette) and theme. Email or call me to RSVP with payment so I can order supplies.

12 x12 Scrapbook Club April 28th

Got lots of pictures to scrap? Love 12x12. Well each month we will be trying out a SWIC new paper pack. Make TWO 12x12 two-page layouts and keep the rest of the papers. Who knows we might even make a card or two with the leftover papers! $30, Includes Hemingway SWIC, Hemingway Cardstock, and Amberly Grace Hardware.

Here is a picture of the Left Side of one of the layouts we will do in class.

I have been told that my photos of 12x12 layouts do not do the actual project justice. The layouts are much better in real life. For that reason I decided to take pics of the left and right sides of the layout separately. I hope that these pictures better portray the actual layout!

This is the Right Side of the same layout. You can click the images for a super close up. Lots of detail.

This layout is not just for Wild West, country, Texas, line dancing, rodeo etc but it is also perfect for any masculine photos, men or boys. You will have opportunities to customize the title, colors and theme of your pages. These classes are small and very personal, you will leave with layouts you love PLUS tons of AWESOME product!

Please RSVP with payment right away for this class so I can order supplies! If you want to leave with your layouts complete, bring a portrait 5x7, a landscape 5x7, TWO portrait 4x6 and TWO landscape 4x6 photos. If you want to prepare your journaling ahead of time email me and I will send you my template, just replace my journaling with yours!

Jar O Greetings FEB 22nd, RSVP soon

Here is a peek at the Jar O Greetings class I have scheduled for 2-22. You will make 12 little greeting/gift cards, envelopes included, and decorate a glass jar to keep them in. We will be using Everyday Events as our featured stamp set. Class is $20 and begins at 6:30 pm. Email me if you are planning to attend risa_v@hotmail.com
This jar would make a great gift. If you keep it for yourself, you will always have a gift card on hand when you need one.
These little cards measure 3x3. I colored my images with Prismacolor Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits, but will have Copic Markers available at the class too. Stay tuned to the blog to see a picture of the jar in a future post.
